Overview A fine and impressive piece from the Edwardian period. Bright, lively old-cut diamonds, arranged in a pierced, swirling setting, frame a single oval cabochon cat's eye, which displays excellent chatoyancy. Removable brooch fitting to the rear, so this beautiful piece can be worn as a brooch, or a pendant. Our light box masks the cat's eye effect. It is best viewed on the video and 'real world' photograph against the brick wall. A beautiful quality antique brooch featuring one of the most mesmerising coloured gemstone phenomena.
