A fine and impressive Art Deco ring from the 1920s in platinum. The central oval ruby of approximately 2.50 carats is deep, blood red in colour. Accompanied by a certificate from Gem Paris stating that the ruby is of Burma origin and has not been heat treated. Natural, untreated Burma rubies of this quality are very scarce. Surrounded by a double row of old-cut diamonds to form a cluster. Trefoil, diamond-set shoulders lead to a reeded platinum shank. French assay marks. A fabulous quality period ring featuring a particularly beautiful ruby.
